Say it so it lands; interactive learning video
This interactive learning video was created as part of my ongoing development in Learning & Development and explores the impact of effective communication in everyday interactions. Using scenarios and reflective prompts, the resource encourages learners to think about how messages can be interpreted differently depending on context, audience, and delivery.
Through this project, I practised designing learner-focused content, structuring information for engagement, and using digital tools to support learning. Creating the video strengthened my understanding of adult learning principles and reinforced the importance of clear, purposeful communication when designing learning experiences.
Skills demonstrated: Learning design, communication, learner engagement, digital content creation, reflective practice, and facilitation awareness.
Music History Support Classes
What started as peer support for music students became one of my first experiences of facilitating learning. Through revision sessions, academic skills guidance, and learner support, I helped students navigate challenging topics and build confidence in their studies. From Music Education to Learning & Development
Overview
Over several years, I provided one-to-one vocal tuition and facilitated group workshops designed to help learners develop technical skills, confidence, performance ability, and creative expression.
Working with learners of varying ages and experience levels, I planned and delivered tailored learning experiences that balanced skill development with encouragement and learner engagement.
Vocal Tuition & Learning Design
Developing knowledge of vocal coaching techniques and learning design principles to better understand how structured, supportive learning environments can foster growth, performance, and engagement.
Girls' (centered) Band Camp
Founded and led Girls (centred) Band Camp, designing and delivering a programme that supported young musicians to build confidence, develop performance skills, and experience collaborative music-making in an inclusive environment.
Disney Choir
Created and led a Disney-themed choir, designing rehearsals and performance opportunities that encouraged participation, confidence, and musical development. Fostered an inclusive and engaging environment where members could develop vocal skills, teamwork, and a shared love of music through performance.
Early Years Music & Learning Programmes
Delivered Kindermusik classes for children aged 1 to 7, using music, movement, play, and storytelling to support early childhood development. Planned and facilitated engaging sessions that nurtured creativity, confidence, social skills, and a lifelong enjoyment of music in a fun and inclusive learning environment.
Songwriting workshops
I led songwriting workshops at Bodman Music, supporting participants to develop creative ideas, build confidence, and collaborate with others. These sessions strengthened my facilitation, communication, and learner support skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression in an inclusive environment.
